Hello friends, as you can see, this is our last post, and as such, I’ll write about my blogging experience, and how much I learn here. Also, I could know my entire classmates better. Is supposed to be a goodbye, but actually, we will share in the other class.
This has been a funny experience, because I wasn’t very good with the English, because I was used to form short sentences, and even so I wasn’t that good. But here, I have to write a full text, it’s like a diary, because we write about experiences or something that we like, and we had to express our feelings.
I really enjoy it, because helped me to think in English, and it helped me to improve my English. Also I knew a lot of new verbs and forms to say something’s.
I really appreciate this course because it gives me the opportunity to share some aspects of my life with you, and also it’s an entertaining experience.
Some of the advantages of this type of class it’s that give us the tools to we can improvise about any subject, because here we talk about different things, and the most important, is that we choose the subjects.
The blog that I really enjoy was about the football, because it’s my passion, it’s my favourite sport, in fact, I could write a lot about it in English. And now, I feel I could do it, because this class gave me the necessaries tools to do it.
Anyway, I think there is a disadvantage about this form of class, because we didn’t interact so we didn’t know if our pronunciation was the right. But most of the time, we could use the help of some classmate or us teacher ;)
I definitely recommend this type of activity, because it’s a new and funny way to get close to the English. And use the computer, and everyone like to use it.
I hope one day I could talk fluent in English; because as the universal language, it’s a plus have control of it.

The king sport

The football is a game of group, it is played by twenty two warriors they leave all in the field. The football is the most popular sport in the entire world. The people get crazy for the passion that feel for the king sport. Now, in this precise moment is playing a match of the world cup 2010 played in South Africa. This match is between the “pentacampeon”, “the scratch”, “la verdeamarela”, the best team in the history of the world cup, the Brazilian selection of football and a little team as North Korea.
The scratch is big favorite to win the championship but the football teams as Argentina, German, Italian, Spanish and English are also the contenders for the title.

Tomorrow is the selection national debut. The red tide is ready to encourage those eleven warriors that jump into field searching the victory. This match is against the team of Honduras. This team has very good players, as “David Suazo” who is a well-known of the “Italian Calcio”.

The national selection of football should play with Claudio Bravo in the arch, in defense Mauricio Isla, Gary Medel, Waldo Ponce and Arturo Vidal, the midfield players would have to be Carlitos Carmona, Rodrigo Tello and the wizard Jorge Valdivia. In the attack should play the wizard trident formed by Humberto “el chupete” Suazo, Alexis Sanchez “the wonderful child” and Fabian Orellana.

I hope that with this team Chili can be for the first time champion of the world cup and with this to make happy all the people that suffered in the earthquake.

THE CELLPHONE

My favourite piece of technology is my cell phone, maybe it’s not the cooler ever or the most recently, but every time I had an emergency, it’s with me.
The first cell phone I had , were when I was in school yet, my mother was pregnant, so we were communicate all the time, because my little sister may come out. I remember that phone it was really heavy, and didn’t have a camera or music; the only thing funny was the game, with the snake.
When my mother had my little sister, it really help us to be communicated with the cell phones, fortunately, I had the mine. Also, my sister and dad had their own.
A couple of years later, I change my cell phone, like two times, for one more modern than the other one. Then, I bought my actual cell phone. It’s not touch, or has an amazing camera, but it really help in emergencies or just to listen music, I can save documents when I connected to the computer, and take photos.
I think if I haven’t got my phone I be lost most of the time, also, I cant take photos every time, but the most importantly it’s I couldn’t communicated with my family and friends if an emergency happens.

"Slumdog millionaire"

This movie it’s about an Indian boy, Jamal Malik. He lives in Bombay, and one day, he decides to participate in the TV show: Who wants to be a millionaire?
Jamal answer all the questions, without any wildcard. So the people of the show think he is cheating and the police take him.
This it’s when they interrogate him about his knowledge, and Jamal start to tell them the story of his life, and everyone realized that he actually knew the answers because the experience in his life like an orphan kid. And he tells the real reason why he is in the show, to find the lost love of his childhood.
I like this movie because it’s show that we can learn of all the experiences we have lived, and we can survive anything, no matter if we are alone or if we have someone, we can find our own destiny.

Pelé

Edson Arantes Do nascimento.Also known as "Pelé, the king of soccer". He was born in três caraçoes, in the Estate of Minas Gerais in Brazil on October 23th, 1940.
He made his debut in the club Santos. He had only fifteen years old. The magnific technical for drive the ball, made he was called at the "scrath", the soccer selection of brazil. With these he won three world cups. Sweden 1950, Chile 1962 and the considered the best world cup in the history, until today, Mexico 1970.
In his amazing career, he made 760 official goals, 541 in tournaments, turning him in the maximum scorer of the history.
He was choosen the best soccer player in the history of the “king sport”, but the reward it was give by the best players of all time, also winners of the golden ball, reward given to the best player in a world cup. It’s a plus. Also he was choosen as the best sportsman in the XX century.
After his retirement, he was an actor and he tried to be a singer. Something really important, it’s that the ONU named him as a world citizen, and embossment for the ecology and the environment; and the UNESCO named him as an embossment of education, science, culture and good wishes.

Music

The music has been a part of me since I was very young; actually, a lot of my favourite groups have remained over time.

When I was 13 I started to listen the music that I like, for example Victor Jara or Los Miserables, and a huge range between it. My father likes Victor Jara, so he was my tutor in this type of music, and from here, I star to search and investigate about similar singers, and there were a found Silvio Rodriguez.

My older sister and I listening Los Miserables and sing their songs; we could spend all day listen and singing their songs, while I play the guitar.

Now day, I listen a little of everything, of course I listen my oldest bands, but also, I listen some groups like “Los Fabulosos Cadillacs” or “Los Autenticos Decadentes”, because their make really entertaining music.

The Earthquake

The day of the earthquake Iwas sleeping, my parents and one of my sisters were also in my house sleeping, but my little sister and my uncle were in her house. When the quake start, my mother and my sister were very scare, but me and my dad were very frightened for my little sister, becouse my uncle always is afraid for the quakes.
Once it's over, we ran to my uncle's house, and we check the entire house, there were a few broken glasses, and the television was in the floor. My little sister, Paulina, was very excited because she never felt sometihng like that ever: Then we tried to call entire family, and we lit some candles, and power on the radio in the cell phone to knew what was happening. When we realized that was an earthquake that affects a big part of our country, we were really affected. It was a very much moved night, and will be always in our memories.
